Abstract:
    Good health of PV system ensures long life, efficient working and economic benefits. Proposed idea will monitors PV system health and diagnose the problems, in real time, which increase its lifetime.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Net yield energy losses in PV system due to inefficiencies are between 22.34% and 27.58%. In order to compensate the problems which causes yield losses, proposed idea will diagnose such problems which can help to maximize the efficiency of PV system and their timely/predictive maintenance.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   In today's life, PV system is used almost every where. There are four major benefactors i.e. government and semi government organizations, private industries, urban and rural areas and road light system.
How will the solution works
    We will deploy smart nodes on string level and sub-string level of the PV module for energy monitoring and data acquisition for efficiency measurement of the complete system. Smart nodes will monitor data and then send the monitored data through central gateway to cloud server remotely and this data will be stored and analyze on the cloud server and desired results will be shown on dashboard. Machine learning algorithms will be applied on the monitored data to predict the lifetime of PV system.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    There is no such type systems which will diagnose the real time problems in the PV panels. Proposed system will diagnose the real time problems, timely/predictive maintenance.and it will also monitor the degradation rate and as a result it will predict the lifetime of the PV array.
