Abstract:
    Our idea is about identification and design of new chemical entities.The solution can be achieved by pipeline development of three models that are able to screen large databases for anti-cancer agent.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Identification of a drug candidate approximately, takes more than a decade and cost millions of dollars. Using computational models that we built can help save time and money by shortlisting potential hits among the large data libraries of compounds.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Researchers in academia and, pharmaceutical industry. These models could pave the way towards successful chemotherapeutic treatment of cancer. Moreover, these models promise to search potential anti-cancer agents along with some antagonists that may restore chemo sensitivity.
How will the solution works
    Our solution will combine three different computational models to screen new chemotherapeutic entities. Integrated decision trees (DTs), artificial neural network (ANN) and pharmacophore models were developed against potential targets (IGF-1R and p53) using certain attributes. The pipeline will be further combined with the chemometeric models against multidrug resistant proteins (MDR) such as p-glycoproteins to identify potential agonists desensitizing cancer cells towards treatment of cancer.

    There is a huge completion among the researchers working on anticancer and anti-MDR drugs all over the world utilizing different techniques. Overall, our predictive models assist in increasing efficiency of drug discovery process by bringing down time, labor and associated expenses.
