| This is an application designed to reduce unemployment by connecting hirers and workers. It provides jobs to nearby people with the required skills so they can easily provide their services. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Workers like cleaners, technicians e.t.c. can't find work (and have low wages) as potential hirers have to go through a long inconvenient process: reach a specific place and search for a suitable worker.
There is no middle party that directly links the supply to the demand in this supply chain. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| 1- Workers like maids, carpet cleaners, furniture movers, technicians, plumbers, tailors e.t.c.
2- Any person who requires some task to be done which he/she cannot do.
1.52 million unemployed laborers/workers in urban areas, along with the general public (as users) can benefit. |
| How will the solution works |
| Our idea uses an app to link a worker to a hirer, it's like the Uber of this supply chain. There are two user interfaces of the app: 1)for the worker, 2)for the hirer.
The hirer posts a task on the app. All the relevant workers in the vicinity of the hirer are notified about the task posting who can then take up the job. Once done, the hirer pays the worker a payment decided by the worker on some set terms. The workers and the hirers are rated as to maintain a level of trust and quality of work. |

- we give the workers a report of their productivity, and suggestions to improve
- voice instructions and visuals for uneducated workers
- feedback and complaint options for hirers
