Abstract:
    A local positioning system that uses stationary nodes and mobile tags to locate and track an athlete's movement on a playing field
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Impact of data analytics is increasing with each passing day yet there is no locally manufactured athlete tracking solutions available in the market. In 2003, Billy Beane changed sports forever, and we are trying to implement the same in our local sports industry.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Product is viable for both indoor and outdoor sports. Our target market is Hockey , which is are national sport and uses such technology which is highly expensive. Our second priority is Football, Pakistan's fastest growing sport and biggest sport of Baluchistan region.
How will the solution works
    Initially, distance between the achor and tag is calculated using RSSI. Once distance is calculated, all the gathered data is sent to a central processing unit vua WiFi where localisation techniques mainly APIT and Trilateration will be used to approximate the coordinates of the athlete. Distance calculation is done using DWM1000 transceiver while for data transfer Node-MCU is used. A GUI resembling the football field will bs the final output.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    As such there are no local competitors. As far as international market is concerned the solutions available are highly expensive which are not viable to be used under the budget of our local teams. Our solution uses RF technology, while most of the international competitors use either GPS or camers.
