Abstract:
    We provide a 'one box solution' which offers real time monitoring and Remaining Useful Life assessment of solar power systems.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    National energy crisis shows that huge investment in renewable sector is needed for sustainable energy to support national-level growth. Solar energy offers large returns on investment due to its minimal operating cost. Predictive maintenance strategy is important for uninterrupted generation.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Investment in renewable energy has turned out to more lucrative due to minimum operating costs. However, the lack of prior knowledge about remaining useful life (RUL) acts as an impediment for energy investors and industrialists looking to maximize profit from renewable energy portfolio.
How will the solution works
    The product collects data from sensors deployed on each sub-component of PV system which will be uploaded online using IOT-based technology. The data can be monitored on site through local GUI. Cloud-computing allows reliability prediction in real-time which is available on-site through Local GUI or off-site at remote center for detailed prognosis. The reliability algorithms are utilized for to predict availability in order to improve procurement strategy and minimize system downtime.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Solar power systems are used by industrialists and investors due to its less operating cost. Our product will monitor the system and predict the RUL of the system which is now important to avoid interrupted supply.
