Abstract:
    Black Box is design and development of vehicle-driver dynamics logging unit. The second phase of Black Box will assist the driver and the third phase will be very first self-driving car in Pakistan.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day. According to WHO in 2014, 30,310 people died in Pakistan because of car accidents. Our idea is to save these precious lives by installing logging unit in cars.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   The US publisher Ward's, estimates that as of 2010 there were 1.015 billion motor vehicles in use in the world. This figure represents the number of cars; light, medium and heavy duty trucks; and buses. Every car owner need this and it will give benefit to everyone.
How will the solution works
    The sensors will get the data and the data will be stored in a logging unit. We will also show the data on screen which will assist the driver. These sensors will then be used for autonomous vehicles.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    As we are the first in our country to work on this idea, so at the moment, we are competition with ourselves.
