Abstract:
    The conventional sand casting requires storage of pattern for each time a casting is made. our prototype will eliminate the need of pattern and hence cost and energy used by this process can be saved
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Foundries require high precision for casting process using minimum workforce , time and cost.Using conventional process that are mostly manually operated,meeting such needs is difficult.Our prototype will fulfill the need of automation of such process ,hence reducing cost and saving time and energy.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   All the Foundries where sand casting is done for example Rastagar, KSB and MRC Nust. Other than that industries that make complex metallic parts for different purposes.Vendors that make metallic ornaments.Every customer related to metal casting can benefit from it since it will reduce cost.
How will the solution works
    The solution to this problem is simple.Its basically an additive manufacturing process.All you need is to make a CAD design for whatever complex shape you want to create,exporting this design to our printer will then start making a 3D mold using powder bed and inkjet head 3D printing head technology.binder jetting will be utilized to bind sand layers.Layer by layer deposition of binder will be implemented.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    This field is new and not a lot work is done in this regard. so main competitor is conventional casting method. Our solution is different because it covers all major problems by automation of the process.
