Abstract:
    Product belongs to the most emerging technical field i.e. renewable energy. It is a vehicle oriented energy harvesting technique which converts the changing tire pressure into useful electrical energy
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Pakistan's electricity mix is heavily tilted towards thermal and the country is making 35.2 % of the total electricity from oil. Renewable energy is a potential resource that can be tapped immediately to overcome the current energy crises. Our system can increase the efficiency of vehicle up to 155%
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   The beneficiary includes the whole automobile industry and every individual with any kind of vehicle because our system increases the overall efficiency of vehicle. Our system is highly adaptive and compatible i.e. it can easily be designed for a wide range of vehicles either its bicycle or a truck.
How will the solution works
    The system works on the principle of piezoelectricity. Piezoelectric materials provide a very high efficiency up to 95%. Innovation is to sandwich the layer of piezoelectric transducers between inner surface of tire and outer surface of inflating tube. Piezoelectric materials produce energy when there is a change in their shape e.g. bending.The system entirely relies on the continuously changing shape of tire and forces in it i.e. due to the transfer of weight on different segments of tire.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Everyone is hunting for the renewable energy sources and some of them also have made a successful entry in the market but the uniqueness of our idea has not been achieved by anyone else yet, which makes our product patentable. Thus we have an indirect competition with automobile industry.
