Abstract:
    Integration of robotics in the field of agriculture can help in achieving the goal of efficient resource utilization. Our Agribot is the next step towards automating the agriculture.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    The field of agriculture has the maximum potential of getting integrated with the robotics. This, however if achieved, can help in reducing the dependency on the human labor. Our idea emits the human factor for most of its function and performs the tasks autonomously.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Our solution works best for the nurseries that grow plants to be sold, or prepare crops to be planted in fields. It also focuses on the educational institutions that need inspiration for automating the agriculture, as well as a potential solution to large scale automated agriculture.
How will the solution works
    Based on a UGV model and powered by Raspberry Pi, our project is capable of automating a lot of different tasks in the controlled environments, as well as farms and fields, while being power efficient. Equipped with camera, it can capture data in real time, traverse rows in which the plants are to be "planted", and with the help of integrated mechanism, it can drill and plant the seeds and small nursery plants.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Our basic competitors are human labor and UAVs employed in this field. Our solution provides an easy and affordable approach with much better results. There is also room for improvement and adding other features to the project as well.
