In residential, commercial, and industrial settings, powerful inverters can be quite large. The extra space required can determine whether or not a design is feasible. Shrinking these inverters significantly is an important step in making their widespread use practical. | |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? | |
42% of employed professionals in Pakistan face 4 to 8 hours of power outage at the workplace every day, so with the introduction of compact, light weight and regulated power backup, this number can be significantly reduced. In short, we have residential, commercial, and industrial benefits. | |
How will the solution works | |
We will be designing a 1 kW Dual stage HF cascaded H-bridge multi-level inverter. We have two main stages; DC-DC converter and DC-AC converter. DC-DC converter will consist of push-pull topology. Input voltage of 24 V DC will step up to 132 V DC via a high frequency transformer operating at 25 kHz. We will also be including a regulation circuit here to keep the output steady. Second stage consists of a H-Bridge inverter. 5 step output AC will be obtained. Size and efficiency consideration. | |
