Abstract:
    Vast number of pakistani farms are small scale so the goal of this project is to develop a cost effective autonomous harvester which can operate in fields using real time tracking system
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Agriculture contributes 20.9 percent in Pakistan’s GDP. Also this sector is deficient in fully utilizing the robotics to increase their yields. Also majority of small farmers are unable to buy heavy machinery so this project will aid in providing economical solution to their unmet needs.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Vast number of Pakistan’s farms operate on small scale, with 95% having an area less than 12.5 acres so this characterizes the fact that amount of people who would benefit from this project are in millions.
How will the solution works
    Farmers are facilitated with three modes of operation; it can be operated manually, over remote control (RC mode) or autonomously. It will utilize technologies such as real time tracking,obstacle avoidance, path planning algorithms to provide a very efficient vehicle automation.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    There are no such competitors in Pakistani market who have developed a completely autonomous harvester system. Globally some products are available but currently most of the machinery is in research based.
