Abstract:
    It is a flexible technology in terms of capacity and is suitable for the cogeneration of heating or cooling, another advantage in the framework of distributed power generation.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Pakistan is facing increasing problems due to excessive consumption of fossil fuels as well as extracting fossil fuels in the future will become gradually challenging. Therefore utilizing renewable energy sources has great importance for domestic heating and electricity generation
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Domestic users in Pakistan will benefit from this. It is a micro-scale product for residential applications.
How will the solution works
    “Organic Rankine cycle” is used for the type of fluid used in this process which is organic fluid usually refrigerants that allows us to use low grade heat as they have low boiling point. Water is heated by an external heat source and is circulated to heat the ORC fluid at the evaporator level. The fluid undergoes an expansion through the turbine producing electricity,the wet expanded vapors cooled to saturated liquid by cooling water loop, can be utilized for household heat.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Globally, in commercial aspect ORC is developing its market place however in Pakistan, it is yet to be introduced. Our major aim is to introduce as a commercial product. Our potential target is to introduce it as a popular communal product which has not been done by our global competitors.
