Abstract:
    In this project a sensor-less, Internet of Things (IoT) based control system will be designed for industrial automation; with the target to time sync and reduce latency to attain full machine control.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Safety is major concern of every society. The designed control system, will help the existing SMEs to make informed decisions for motor control through cellular devices without time delay. This will create white collar jobs for the labor class while reducing involved risk factor in machine control.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   In Pakistan 80%-90% SMEs are not automated. Agriculture comprises of 50% of work force & automobile industry is made of 2 million technical workers. Our system benefits these industries but is not limited to these applications only. Any actuator based system is our potential client.
How will the solution works
    Clarke-Park transforms are applied to machine parameters to express those as current and voltage space vectors. The space vectors are then represented in stationary and rotating reference frames, which are described in terms of d and q axes. This is fed to the sliding observer which will process an output for flux estimator. Originals are restored using inverse Clarke-Park transforms. A resultant goes back to the motor completing the loop while passing through an inverter.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Yes. Our system has a GUI, low cost and does not require extensive training to operate. It is mostly software based so the maintenance cost is low. It will be connected in parallel to existing system hence no major modifications are required. It can be modified for any user with software updates.
