Abstract:
    Design and fabricate a low cost ECG device which can be easily used by someone with low technical expertise for round-the-clock ECG self-monitoring Android application which displays and stores result
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Cardiovascular disease is the leading global culprit for natural death, accounting for 29.2 percent of total death. The reported prevalence of coronary heart disease (CHD) in adult surveys has risen 4-fold in urban areas and doubled in rural areas over the past 30 years
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Mostly used by the patients suffering from conduction abnormalities, rhythm disorders and other Cardiac diseases. Cardiologist can monitor the patient’s results remotely. Patients are no longer bound to a specific healthcare location where they are monitored can be used in under developed areas
How will the solution works
    We are using Dry Electrodes which are of stainless steel which are reusable and won’t cause any irritation and we are making an app which will get the data from the sensor and will display and store the results and then the stored results will be sent to cloud for monitoring and storage. A web portal to access those results by the patient and the doctor as well.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    There are few competitors who are making this device but is very costly and are only providing a mobile application, while we making a low cost, compact and effective wearable device and with the mobile app also are providing a web portal for the patient and the doctor to see his results
