Abstract:
    The Agricultural system in Pakistan is much orthodox. Latest tech and IoT can be used in such a way that yield of crop will increase while water and fertilizer will be used in the most efficient way.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Conventional farming results in huge loss of water(45% approx) resources, excessive use of fertilizers leads to serious health(14000 people die every day due to water pollution) and environmental hazards and wastage of electricity is not acceptable in energy deficient country like Pakistan.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Greenhouses, farmers and food production industries will be our focused customers. About 25% of Pakistan's agriculture accounts for about 21% of GDP and employs about 43% of labor. Agricultural and farming land (sq. km) in Pakistan was reported at 362520 sq. Km in 2014, according to the World Bank.
How will the solution works
    1) We will be developing nodes to monitor crop parameters like soil moisture, pH, temperature and humidity. 2) All the sensed data will be sent to cloud to be stored in a centralized database. 3) Using the sensed data, system can automatically turn on and off the water pump. 4) Safe and correct amount of fertilizer will be transferred to the crops using 'smart valve'. 5) Drip Irrigation System will be used to transfer water and fertilizer. 6) Android app will also be paired with device.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Globally there are a lot of companies which are working on this field but in Pakistan there are just handful number of them. These projects(LMKR, IFarmer) are just able to tell the farmer about what will be the best decision he could take rather than controlling the process through IoT.
